TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE M3 NBC HEATERS AND CONTROLLERS (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0794 00 REMOVAL NOTE Tag all leads before removing. 1. Disconnect lead 537A (1) from commander’s controller (2). 2. Disconnect two leads (3) from commander’s controller (2) and commander’s heater (4). 3. Remove screw (5), ground lead (6), and lockwasher (7) from weld nut. Discard lockwasher. 4. Remove four screws (8), seven washers (9), one lockwasher (10), ground lead (6), four lockwashers (11), nuts (12), and commander’s controller (2) from rear engine bulkhead. 5. Cut straps (13) and separate two leads (3) from adjacent hose (14). Discard straps. 6. Loosen clamps (15) and remove commander’s station hose (16) and commander’s station inlet hose (17) from commander’s heater. 7. Remove four screws (18), seven washers (19), four lockwashers (20), ground lead terminal (21), one lockwasher (22), four nuts (23), and commander’s heater (4) from bracket (24). Discard lockwashers. 8. If damaged, remove two screws (25), lockwashers (26), washers (27), and bracket (24) from bulkhead. Discard lockwashers. 0794 00-2
