TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE M3 NBC HEATER HOSES AND FITTINGS (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0782 00 INSTALLATION 1. Install driver’s station inlet hose (1) on air purifier (2). 2. Install driver’s station inlet hose (1) and clamp (3) on heater (4). Tighten clamp. 3. Install driver’s station hose (5) and clamp (6) on heater (4). Tighten clamp. NOTE Hoses can go into any of the four outlets. The two open outlets have to be covered with plugs to keep the air pressure balanced. 4. Install two clamps (7) on driver’s station hose (5). Secure clamps to bulkhead with two screws (8) and new lockwashers (9). 5. Secure electrical leads to driver’s station hose (5) with new straps (10) as required. 6. If removed, clean hull, remove backing paper and firmly install new fastener tape (12) against the hull. Install the web strap (11) to tape (12). 7. Install driver’s station hose (5) in three web straps (12) on bulkhead. 8. Install driver’s station hose (5) and clamp (13) on connector (14). Tighten clamp. 9. Install commander’s station inlet hose (15) on air purifier (2). 10. Install commander’s station inlet hose (15) and clamp (16) on heater (17). Tighten clamp. 0782 00-4
