INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lockwasher (10) Straps (as required) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery ground strap disconnected (WP 0337 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove commander’s station hose (1) from connector (2) and four web straps (3). 2. If web straps (4) or fastener tape (3) are damaged, remove from bulkhead or top plate, as required. 3. Cut and remove all straps (5) securing electrical leads (6) to commander’s station hose (1). Discard straps. 4. Remove screw (7), lockwasher (8), and jumper assembly (9) from weld nut (10). Discard lockwashers. 5. Remove two screws (11), lockwasher (12), washer (13) and clamp (14) from top plate. Remove two clamps from commander’s station hose (1). Discard lockwashers. 0782 00-1
