TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE NBC AIR PURIFIER AND FRAME (M577A3 ONLY) — Continued 0776 00 INSTALLATION 1. Install frame assembly (8), four screws (9), four new lockwashers (10), four washers (11), and four nuts (12) on plate. 2. Place air purifier (2) in frame assembly (8) and close latch (7). 3. Install two clamps (5) and couplings (6) on air purifier (2) and tighten clamps (5). Tighten all clamps to tubes and hoses. 0776 00-2 4. Unfasten latch (7) and lift air purifier (2) from frame assembly (8). 5. Remove four screws (9), four lockwashers (10), four washers (11), four nuts (12), and frame assembly (8) from plate. Discard lockwashers. 4. Remove screw (3) from air purifier (2). Secure ground lead (4) with screw (3) to air purifier (2). Change 2 5. Connect power cable (1) to air purifier (2). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Connect battery ground lead (WP 0338 00). 2. Adjust air purifier. See TM 3-6680-316-10 for procedure. END OF TASK
