TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE NBC AIR PURIFIER AND FRAME (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0775 00 8. Remove four screws (25), eight washers (26), four lockwashers (27), nuts (28), and mount (20) from welded frame (29). Discard lockwashers. INSTALLATION NOTE Remove paint around mounting hole, beyond outside diameter of lockwasher. Install lockwasher against surface where paint was removed to ensure electrical grounding. 1. Install mount (20), four screws (25), four new lockwashers (27), eight washers (26), and nuts (28) on bracket (29). 2. Install four mounts (19), 16 screws (21), 32 washers (22), 16 new lockwashers (23), and nuts (24) on welded frame (11). 3. Install frame assembly (14), five screws (15), washers (17), new lockwashers (16), and nuts (18), on five mounts (19), (20). 4. Place air purifier (2) in frame assembly (14) and close latch (13). 5. Install two quick disconnect hoses (12) onto the air purifier (2) outlets. 6. If ground lead is being replaced, install screw (6), three ground leads (5), new lockwasher (7), washer (8), new lockwasher (9), and nut (10) securing driver’s heater under welded frame (11). 7. Remove screw (3) from wiring harness connector on air purifier (2). Secure ground lead (5) to air purifier with screw (3) and new lockwasher (4). 0775 00-2
