INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lockwasher (9) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 TM 3-1040-283-10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Circuit breaker CB1 OFF (TM 3-1040-283-10) Battery ground strap disconnected (WP 0337 00) REMOVAL WARNING Fog oil is slippery and can cause soldiers to fall and get injured. Clean up all spillage or leakage of fog oil as soon as possible by washing the area, or absorbing the fog oil with sand or other absorbent material. NOTE Left and right hoses are replaced the same way. 1. Disconnect fog oil hose assembly (1) from access plate adapter (2). 2. Disconnect fog oil hose assembly (1) from fog oil tank at quick disconnect coupling (3). 3. Install safety cap (4) on hose (1) and dust cap (5) on quick disconnect coupling (3). 0769 00-1
