INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lockwasher (12) Locknut (4) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 TM 3-1040-283-10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Circuit breaker CB1 OFF (TM 3-1040-283-10) Battery ground strap disconnected (WP 0337 00) WARNING Before you do any maintenance, discharge all capacitors to ground or electrical shock could injure personnel. REMOVAL NOTE Tag all cables to match their respective connectors before removal. 1. Disconnect six cable assembly plugs (1) from control panel (2). Install associated dust caps (3). 2. Remove four screws (4), lockwashers (5), eight washers (6), four locknuts (7), and control panel (2) with two attached brackets (9) and (11) from two brackets (8) and (10). Discard lockwashers and locknuts. 3. Remove eight screws (12), lockwashers (13) and two brackets (9)(11) from control panel (2). Discard lockwashers. 0756 00-1
