TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE FRONT ARMOR (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0749 00 19. Insert detent screw (33) with nut (32) installed, through washer (34) and into door plate (28) until threads of detent screw (33) bottom out. Do not tighten detent screw (33) or jam nut (32) yet. 0749 00-11 Change 3 INSTALLATION 1. Install extension (1) on plate (2) with two new lockwashers (3), washers (4), and new screws (5). 2. Install handle (6) on extension (1) with two screws (7), new lockwashers (8), and washers (9). WARNING Armor plates are heavy. Be sure to support plate properly to avoid injury to personnel. 3. Install front left armor plate (10) on hull with four screws (11) and washers (12).
