TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE FRONT ARMOR (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0749 00 9. Remove two screws (36), lockwashers (37), washers (38), backing plate (39), and trim vane hinge (40) from front left armor plate (26). Discard lockwashers. 0749 00-6 Change 3 1. Remove screw (1) with jam nut (2) and washer (3) from backing plate (4) and power plant door armor plate (5). 2. Remove jam nut (2) from screw (1). 3. Remove two screws (6), lockwashers (7), washers (8), backing plate (4), and latch stop (9), from power plant door armor plate (5). Discard lockwashers. 4. Remove two screws (10), lockwashers (11), washers (12), backing plate (13), and trim vane hinge (14) from front right armor plate (15). Discard lockwashers. 5. Remove four screws (16), washers (17)(18), locknuts (19) and bracket (20) from front right armor plate (15). Discard locknuts. 6. Remove four screws (21), washers (22)(23), locknuts (24), and bracket (25) from front left armor plate (26). Discard locknuts. 7. Remove four screws (27), washers (28)(29), locknuts (30), and two track shoe brackets (31) from front left armor plate (26). Discard locknuts. 8. Remove two screws (32), washers (33), backing plate (34), and trim vane strike (35) from front left armor plate (26).
