TM 9-2350-277-20-5 INSTALL ARMOR KIT (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0748 00 NOTE For proper alignment and sealing of ramp door, install washers between door hinges and ramp hinges to keep outer edges of door flush with ramp weldment within 1/16 inch (1.5 mm). 52. Install two spacers (12), new shims (8) and two hinges (7) on ramp door (1) with six new screws (6). Hand tighten screws. 53. Install two spacers (13), new shims (10) and two hinges (5) on ramp (11) with six new screws (9). Hand tighten screws. 54. Attach lifting device to ramp door (1) and install on ramp (11). Secure four hinges (5) and (7) with two screws (2), four washers (3), and two nuts (4). 55. TIGHTEN 12 SCREWS (6)(9) TO 107-118 LB-FT (145-160 N m). Remove lifting device from ramp door (1). 56. Attach bracket (14) to ramp door armor plate (15) with two new screws (16), new washers (17), and new locknuts (18). 57. Install hook (19) on bracket (14) with screw (20), four washers (21), two spacers (22), spring (23), and new locknut (24). 0748 00-12 Change 3
