TM 9-2350-277-20-5 INSTALL ARMOR KIT (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0748 00 NOTE Backing plates (6) and (10) are used with kit 57K0467. 14. Install trim vane hinge (1) on armor plate (2) with two screws (3), lockwashers (4), washers (5) and backing plate (6). 15. Install trim vane strike (7) on plate (2) with two screws (8), washers (9) and backing plate (10). NOTE If installing kit 57K0429, do Step 17. 16. Install two track shoe brackets (11) to plate (2) with four screws (12), washers (13) and (14), and locknuts (15). Use knife or chisel to remove foam on back of plate (2) so locknuts (15) can be attached to screws (12). NOTE If installing kit 57K0429, do Step 17. 17. Install bracket (16) to plate (2) with four washers (17), lockwashers (18), and screws (19). 0748 00-4 Change 3
