TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE COMMANDER’S CUPOLA ARMOR SHIELDS (M113A3 AND M1064A3 ONLY) — Continued 0747 00 NOTE Install washer(s) as needed, to compress bumper 1/4 inch (6 mm) when hold-open hook is engaged. 5. Install bracket (1) on cupola bracket. Secure bracket (1) with screw (2), washer (3), and new locknut (4). 6. Install washers (5), bumper (6), and new locknut (7) on bracket (1). 7. Install clamp (8) on lower bracket of machine gun handle. 8. Install strap (9) through loop on right shield (10) and clamp (8) on machine gun handle. Tighten strap. 9. If removed, install clips (11) on doors (12). Deform ends of clips (11) over loops on doors (12). 10. Install four doors (12) on two shields (10) and (13). 11. Install two shields (10) and (13) on commander’s cupola (14). 12. Install the right and left shields (10) and (13), four screws (15), washers (16), and new lockwashers (17) on commander’s cupola (14). 13. Install two screws (18) and washers (19) in first two holes of two shields (10) and (13). 0747 00-4
