INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Grommet (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Shut off valves on coolant heater closed (see your -10) Carrier cooling system drained (WP 0227 00) Coolant heater system drained (WP 0710 00) Batteries and retainers removed (WP 0346 00), (WP 0347 00), or (WP 0349 00) REMOVAL 1. Loosen two clamps (1) on hose (2) and remove hose from battery plates (3). 2. Remove clamps (1) from hose (2). 3. Remove two grommets (4) from battery box (5). Discard grommets. 0722 00-1
