TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE HEATER FUEL PUMP (M1064A3 ONLY) — Continued 0697 00 INSTALLATION 1. Align clamp (1) on fuel pump lead (2) with hull bracket. Secure with two new lockwashers (3), screw (4) and nut (5). 2. Place fuel pump (6) on hull bracket. Secure with four new lockwashers (7) and two screws (8). 3. Apply light coat of sealing compound to all external tapered threads. Do not apply sealant beyond small end of external tapered threads. 4. Install elbow (9) on fuel pump (6). 5. Install hose (10) on elbow (9). 6. Install tee (11) on fuel pump (6). 7. Install cap (12) on tee (11). 8. Install hose (13) on tee (11). 9. Connect fuel pump lead (2) to circuit 402 lead (14). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Connect battery ground strap (WP 0337 00). 2. Open heater fuel shutoff valve. Bleed fuel line (WP 0679 00). 3. Start heater (see your -10). Check for fuel leaks. Turn heater off. 4. Install front floor plate (WP 0543 00). 5. Install heater duct (WP 0706 00). 6. Start engine (see your -10). 7. Raise and lock ramp (see your -10). 8. Stop engine (see your -10).
