TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE PERSONNEL HEATER FUEL PUMP (M577A3 AND M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued 0696 00 INSTALLATION 1. Place fuel pump (1) on bulkhead bracket. Secure with two screws (2), four new lockwashers (3), and two new locknuts (4). 2. Apply light coat of sealing compound to all external tapered threads. Do not apply sealant beyond small end of tapered threads. 3. Install elbow (5) on fuel pump (1). Install fuel hose (6) on elbow. Install hose (6) under hose (7). 4. Install adapter (8) on fuel pump (1). Install fuel hose (7) on adapter. 5. Align clamp (9) on fuel pump lead (10) with weldnut. Secure with two new lockwashers (11) and screw (12). 6. Connect fuel pump lead (10) to circuit 402 lead (13). 0696 00-4
