TM 9-2350-277-20-5 SERVICE PERSONNEL HEATER FUEL FILTER — Continued 0680 00 REMOVAL NOTE Shield installed on M577A3 and M1068A3 carriers only. 1. Remove four screws (1), lockwashers (2), washers (3), and shield (4) from sponson. Discard lockwashers. 2. Depress plunger (5) until fluid is drained from collector bowl (6). Wipe up spilled fuel. NOTE Loosen head bolt as instructed. Do not remove head bolt from filter head. 3. Loosen head bolt (8) until filter element (7) with preformed packing (9) can be removed from filter head (10). Remove head gasket (*) from filter head (10). Discard preformed packing and filter element. 0680 00-2 Change 2 Fuel can catch fire and burn you. Do not smoke. Wipe up spilled fuel. WARNING
