TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE RIGHT SIDE BASE EXTENSION (M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued 0623 00 10. Install hinge (1) to base extension (2) and base (3) with 12 screws (4). ADJUSTMENT 1. Loosen four screws (5). Lower base extension (2) so that striker (6) latches over hull wall-mounted support (7). Adjust bracket (8) so that end of striker latches over support 3/8 to 5/8 inch (10 to 16 mm). Tighten four screws (5). 2. With lever (9) in the lock position, adjust nut (10) until the clearance between nut (10) and bracket (8) is 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) minimum with striker (6) latched over support (7). Then hold nut (10) and tighten jamnut (11) against nut (10). END OF TASK 0623 00-4
