TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE/REPAIR RAMP VISION PORT AND SHIELD (M58 ONLY) — Continued 0586 00 6. Remove door (20) and two packings (21) from shield (8). Discard packings. CLEANING 1. Apply cleaning compound or water to vision block (13). Use a clean wiping rag. Dry vision block with cheesecloth. 0586 00-2 Change 2 REMOVAL 1. Remove four screws (1) lockwashers (2), washers (3) and two mending plates (4) from housing (5). Discard lockwashers. 2. Remove four screws (6), washers (7) and shield (8) from ramp hatch (9). 3. Remove four screws (10), washers (11), housing (5), gasket (12), and vision block (13) from ramp hatch (9). Discard gasket. 4. Remove two screws (14), clamps (15), and shims (16) from ramp hatch (9). 5. Remove shaft (17), two spacers (18), and two springs (19) from shield (8).
