INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Locknut (5) Lockwasher (10) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Remove four locknuts (1), eight lockwashers (2), four screws (3), and rack (4) from hanger (5) and bulkhead mounts. Discard locknuts and lockwashers. 2. Remove locknut (6), two lockwashers (7), screw (8), and hanger (5) from hull top plate mount. Discard locknut and lockwashers. INSTALLATION 1. Align hanger (5) with hull top plate mount. Secure with screw (8), two new lockwashers (7), and new locknut (6). 0579 00-1
