TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE DRIVER’S HATCH VISION BLOCK LOCKS AND SEALS — Continued 0535 00 8. Scrape seal (8) from vision block opening. CLEANING CLEANING, INSPECTION, AND REPAIR 1. Clean seal mating surface on hull with cleaning compound. INSTALLATION NOTE Surface on seal marked BOND THIS SIDE should be glued to hull. 1. Apply adhesive to mating surface around vision block opening. Allow to become tacky. Install new seal (8) on hatch. NOTE Steps 2 - 4 apply to M1064A3 only. 2. Install washer (7) and post (6) in driver’s hatch. TIGHTEN POST TO 54-59 LB-FT (73-80 N m) TORQUE. 3. Install periscope clamp (3) on post (6). Secure with washer (5) and bolt (4). TIGHTEN BOLT TO 144-168 LB-IN (16-19 N m) TORQUE. 0535 00-3
