INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Cotter pin Flat steel washer (as needed) Key washer (8) Lockwasher (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic Helper (H) R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) ADJUSTMENT WARNING Falling ramp could cause severe injuries. Keep personnel clear of ramp area. 1. Lower ramp (see your -10). 2. Remove cotter pin (1) and headed pin (2) from clevis (3). Discard cotter pin. 3. Disconnect link (4) from clevis (3). 4. Swing lever (5) forward. If catch (6) does not engage with striker (7), adjust catch (Step 5). If catch and striker adjustment is all right, go to Step 7. 0523 00-1
