TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE ROAD WHEEL HUB — Continued 0416 00 2. Remove cotter pin (5), nut (6), washer (7), and hub (4) from road wheel support arm (8). Discard cotter pin. 3. Remove seal (9), outer bearing (10), and inner bearing (11) from hub (4). Discard seal. 4. Remove grease fitting (12) and relief valve (13) from hub (4). 5. If damaged, remove bolt(s) (14) from hub (4). Discard bolt(s). 6. If damaged, remove bearing cups (15) and (16) from hub (4). Discard cups. CLEANING C A U T I O N Bearings must be replaced as assemblies. Do not mix cups and bearings. 1. Clean and inspect bearings in accordance with TM 9-214. Replace bad bearings and cups. 0416 00-2 Change 3 REMOVAL 1. Remove four screws (1), hub cap (2), and gasket (3) from road wheel hub (4). Discard gasket.
