TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE COMMANDER’S HATCH COVER (M577A3 AND M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued 0503 00 REMOVAL WARNING Driver’s hatch cover may spring up and injure you. Open and support hatch cover in vertical position. 1. Remove four locknuts (1), screws (2), and two retaining plates (3) from hatch brackets. Discard locknuts. 2. Support hatch cover (4). Remove 28 springs (5), two tubes (6), spacers (7), and cover (4) from hatch brackets. 3. Remove locknut (8) and screw (9) from cover (4). Discard locknut. 4. If necessary, pry up end of seal (10) and remove from cover (4). 0503 00-2
