TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE COMMANDER’S CUPOLA COVER (M113A3, M1059A3, M58, AND M1064A3 ONLY) — Continued 0493 00 INSTALLATION 1. Place new seal (11) over retaining groove in cover (5). Press seal into place. Trim end of seal if needed. 2. Install screw (10) in cover (5). Secure with new locknut (9). 3. Align cover (5) with cupola brackets. Install two fiber washers (8) and shield (7). 4. Apply light coat of grease to each spring (6). Install 12 springs in shield (7). 5. Place cover (5) in vertical position. Install retainer (4) on cupola bracket. Secure with two screws (3), washers (2), and new locknuts (1). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Adjust commander’s cupola cover latch (WP 0496 00). 2. Close cover. Check that commander’s cupola cover is installed right (see your -10). END OF TASK 0493 00-3/4 blank
