TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE HOPPER HATCH LOCK ASSEMBLY (M58 ONLY) — Continued 0483 00 ASSEMBLY 1. Install new preformed packing (1) on shaft (2). 2. Install four washers (3) and lock handle (4) on shaft (2). 3. Install spacer (5), washers (6), key (7), lock (8), and new lock nut (9) on lock handle (4). ADJUSTMENT 1. Use exterior washers (3) as required to achieve snug and even compression of seal. 2. Use interior washers (6) as required to position centerline of lock (8) within 1/8 inch of centerline of combat lock pin. END OF TASK 0483 00-2
