TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE MORTAR HATCH EXTERIOR CATCHES AND BUMPERS (M1064A3 ONLY) — Continued 0480 00 2. Adjust RIGHT exterior latch as follows: a. Open hatch sections. b. Loosen screws (1). Move bracket (2) to get 1/4 in (6 mm) between end of bracket (2) and edge of catch (3). c. If above adjustment cannot be made, loosen screws (4) and move catch (3) to get above measurement. d. Remove or install shims (5) between bumper (6) and door section so that tee head bolt (7) protrudes into catch (3) a distance of 9/16 to 3/4 in (14 to 19 mm) with center and right door sections firmly against bumper. e. Tighten screws (1) on bracket (2). f. TIGHTEN SCREWS (4) ON CATCH (3) AND TORQUE TO 360-420 LB-IN (41-47 N m). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Open and close mortar hatch covers (see your -10).
