TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE MORTAR HATCH EXTERIOR CATCHES AND BUMPERS (M1064A3 ONLY) — Continued 0480 00 ADJUSTMENT 1. Adjust LEFT and CENTER exterior latches as follows: a. Open hatch sections. b. Loosen screws (1). Move latch bolt bracket (2) to get 5/8 in (16 mm) between end of bracket (2) and edge of catch (3). c. If above adjustment cannot be made, loosen screws (4) and move catch (3) to get above measurement. d. Remove or install shims (5) between bumper (6) and hull so that tee head bolt (7) protrudes into catch (3) a distance of 3/8 to 13/16 in (10 to 21 mm) with center door section firmly against bumper. e. Tighten screws (1) on bracket (2). f. TIGHTEN SCREWS (4) ON CATCH (3) AND TORQUE TO 360-420 LB-IN (41-47 N m). 0480 00-5
