TM 9-2350-277-20-4 RAISE AND LOWER POWER PLANT GRILLE — Continued 0464 00 WARNING Damaged lifting slings can fail with load. Soldiers can be killed or injured. Inspect all slings before use. Do not use damaged slings. WARNING Grill and access cover are very heavy. Use extreme caution when lifting, blocking, and lowering assembly. Allowing assembly to fall could cause death or injury. C A U T I O N Use chain and lifting device capable of lifting and holding 2000 lbs (908 kg) securely. C A U T I O N The power plant door is heavy. If necessary, use extra helpers and straps/chains to guide and control power plant door. C A U T I O N To prevent damage to power plant front access door, guide door as grill is lowered into braced position. 11. (H) Loop a 6-foot strap or chain through power plant door latch and hold door (1) back as power plant grill (2) is being raised. 0464 00-8
