INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Locknut ( 4) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic Helper (H) R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Trim vane stowed (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Remove two outer locknuts (1) and screws (2) from hinges (3). Discard locknuts. 2. (H) Lower trim vane (see your -10). 3. Remove two inner locknuts (4) and screws (5) from hinges (6). Remove trim vane from carrier. Have helper assist. Discard locknuts. 4. Remove hinges from trim vane and retain. 0458 00-1 Change 3
