TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPAIR/REPLACE POWER PLANT REAR ACCESS PANELS — Continued 0439 00 NOTE Do Step 6 for M901A3, M1068A3, and M1064A3 only. Replace strap loops only if damaged. M901A3 and M1068A3 have two strap loops and M1064A3 has six strap loops. 6. If removed, install two screws (17), strap loops (18), two washers (14), and new locknuts (15) on upper panel (16). 7. If removed, install new seals (19) and (20) on panels (16) and (21). Bend seal supports to secure seals to panels. WARNING Carbon monoxide gas is deadly poison. Play it safe! Make sure power plant access panels are closed tight before you start engine. 8. Install panels (16) and (21) on hull. Tighten seven clamps (9) and T-bolts (11). 9. Make sure panel seals hull opening to prevent carbon monoxide leaks. FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Start engine (see your -10). 2. Stop engine (see your -10). END OF TASK 0439 00-3/4 blank
