TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE STEERING LOCK SOLENOID, BRACKET, LINKS, AND PINS (SOLENOID-ACTIVATED LOCK) — Continued 0428 00 16. Rotate steering wheel 30 degrees in either direction. Hold steering wheel in this position. 17. Place transmission selector in SL position. 18. Turn MASTER SWITCH ON (see your –10). 19. Observe that STEERING LOCKED warning light is off. 20. If STEERING LOCKED light comes on, loosen two screws (1) that secure solenoid (2) to steering wheel housing (3). 21. Slide bracket (4) toward steering wheel until STEERING LOCKED light goes out. 22. Tighten two screws (1) that secure solenoid (2) to steering wheel housing (3). 23. Center steering wheel, and make sure steering wheel locks and STEERING LOCKED light comes on. 24. Turn MASTER SWITCH OFF (see your -10). END OF TASK 0428 00-11/12 blank
