TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPLACE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSES, FITTINGS, AND MOUNTING — Continued 0399 00 INSTALLATION 1. Apply light coat of sealing compound to clean external tapered threads. Do not apply sealant beyond small tapered threads. 2. Install jam nut (5) on tee (2). 3. Install new preformed packing (7), retainer (6), and tee (2) on oil cooler inlet port (8). Tighten jam nut (5). 4. Install transmission oil high temperature switch (4) on tee (2). 5. Connect circuit 327 lead (3) to transmission oil high temperature switch (4). 6. Install elbow (1) on tee (2). 7. Route hose (9) through bracket (10) to outlet port on transmission. Install new preformed packing (11) and elbow (12) in outlet port on transmission. Install hose on elbow. 8. Install hose (9) on elbow (1) on oil cooler inlet port (8). 0399 00-8
