TM 9-2350-277-20-3 ADJUST TRANSMISSION BRAKES — Continued 0394 00 NOTE If indicator stopped before APPLY mark, brakes are too tight. If indicator stopped past mark, brakes need to be tightened. Brake adjusting link should be turned only 1/6 turn (60 degrees) at a time until proper brake adjustment is achieved. 3. Turn brake adjustment screw (1) inside transmission to adjust brakes. If indicator passed APPLY mark, turn to the left and tighten. If indicator did not reach APPLY mark, turn to the right and loosen. 4. Check transmission brake adjustment (WP 0406 00). 5. Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 as needed until indicator stops at APPLY mark at speciﬁed torque. 0394 00-6
