TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPLACE TRANSMISSION RANGE CONTROLLER SWITCH — Continued 0389 00 INSTALLATION 1. Align the two pins on the transmission controller body (1) into the socket on the switch (3) and begin to insert. 2. Adjust the shift handle (2) on transmission controller body (1) to align the tab with the slot before closing the switch (3) and transmission controller body together. 3. Apply cleaning compound and sealing compound to threads of three slotted screws (4). 4. Install three slotted screws (4), but do not tighten until you are sure shifter (2) is moving the switch (3). Tighten screws . FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install transmission range controller (WP 0386 00) or (WP 0387 00). END OF TASK 0389 00-2
