INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Multimeter (WP 0926 00, Item 30) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Grommet Locknut (3) Strap P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery ground strap disconnected (WP 0337 00), (WP 0338 00), or (WP 0339 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect circuit leads 369 and 369A (used on solenoid-activated lock) or leads 369A and 368 (used on cable-activated lock) (1) and (2) from steering locked indicator switch (3). NOTE Do Step 2 for solenoid-activated lock only. 2. Remove two nuts (8), lockwashers (7), circuit 368A lead (5), and ground lead (6) from solenoid terminals (4). Do not discard lockwashers. 3. Remove strap (9) securing wiring harness (10) in the steering wheel housing. 0367 01-1 Change 1
