TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPLACE BATTERY BOX VENT FITTING (M58 ONLY) — Continued 0355 00 INSTALLATION 1. Install hose (1) on battery box (2) with hose clamp (3). 2. Apply a bead of sealing compound around hole (4) in vehicle hull (5). 3. Align holes in battery box vent fitting (6) with holes in vehicle hull (5). 4. Secure battery box vent fitting (6) on vehicle hull (5) using six new lockwashers (7), washers (8), and screws (9). 5. Install hose (1) on battery box vent fitting (6) with hose clamp (10). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Start engine (see your -10). 2. Raise and lock ramp (see your -10). 3. Stop engine (see your -10). END OF TASK 0355 00-3/4 blank Change Change 2
