TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPAIR BATTERY BOX (M577A3 AND M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued 0351 00 REMOVAL NOTE Repair of the battery box is limited to replacement of the channels, frames, and latches. 1. Remove two screws (1), washers (2), and channel divider (3) from battery box frame (4). 2. Remove screws (5), lockwashers (6), washers (7), hardened washers (8), and battery box frame (4) from battery box. Discard lockwashers. 3. If damaged, remove rubber bumpers (9) from battery box. Discard bumpers. CLEAN AND INSPECT 1. Clean battery box by soaking in mixture of sodium bicarbonate and water. Dry parts and apply coating. Replace damaged, corroded, or missing parts. INSTALLATION 1. If removed, install new rubber bumpers (1) on battery box. 2. Install battery box frame (2) in battery box. Secure with four hardened washers (3), washers (4), new lockwashers (5), and screws (6). 0351 00-2 Change 1
