TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPAIR BATTERY BOX (M113A3 AND M1059A3 ONLY) — Continued 0350 00 INSTALLATION 1. If removed, install new rubber bumpers (14) on battery box (13). 2. Install three new grommets (11) in rear of battery box (13). Secure with three screws (12), six washers (10), and three nuts (9). 3. Install four new frame mounts (7) in battery box frame (4). 4. Install battery box frame (4) with frame mounts (7). Secure with four screws (5) and washers (6). 5. Install channel divider (3) on battery box frame (4). Secure with two screws (1) and washers (2). TIGHTEN SCREWS TO 120-192 LB-IN (14-22 N m) TORQUE. NOTE Six latches are installed the same way. 6. Install latch (15) on battery box (13) or front plate (16). Secure with two screws (17), washers (18), and new locknuts (19). NOTE On newer models, there are screws and washers securing the front plate to the battery box. 7. Install front plate (16) on battery box (13). Secure with four screws (20), eight washers (21), and four new locknuts (22). 0350 00-4 Change 2
