TM 9-2350-277-20-3 0348 00 INSTALLATION 1. Align battery box (1) on two mounting blocks (2). 2. Install battery box assembly support plate (3) in battery box (1). Align mounting holes with battery box (1) mounting holes. 3. Install four T-head bolts (4) on two battery racks (5). 4. Install eight resilient mounts (6) and two battery racks (5) in battery box (1). Secure with eight washers (7) and screws (8). 5. Place clamp (9) on nonmetallic hose (10) and attach hose to vent (11). Tighten clamp (9). WARNING Battery is heavy and can cause back injury if handled improperly. Be sure to have helper assist you to remove and replace battery. Battery weighs about 75 lb (34 kg). 6. Install four batteries in battery box (1). 7. Install four battery retainers (12) on two battery racks (5). Secure with four washers (13) and new locknuts (14). 8.
