TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPLACE BATTERY LEADS AND TERMINALS (M577A3 AND M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued 0341 00 5. Remove nut (1), screw (2), washer (3), circuit leads 772 (4), 778 (5), and 6 (6), and positive-to-positive terminal lead (7) from terminal (8). 6. Remove nut (9), screw (10), washer (11), circuit lead 6 (12), circuit lead 48B (13), cable W4 (14) and positive-to-positive terminal lead (7) from terminal (15). 7. Remove eight leads and two grommets (16) and (17) from battery box (18). Discard grommets. 8. Remove eight nuts (19), screws (20), and eight terminals (8), (15), and (21) from battery posts (22). CLEANING CLEANING AND INSPECTION 1. Clean battery covers, terminals, battery posts, and lead connectors with mixture of sodium bicarbonate and water. When foaming stops, flush parts with clean water. Dry with clean cloth. 2. Clean terminals and battery posts with battery wire brush. 0341 00-3
