TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPLACE STEERING LOCK SWITCH — Continued 0330 00 INSTALLATION 1. Remove forward jamnut (8) on new switch (9) by hand. Do not remove rear jamnut, lockwasher, and keyway washer. 2. Install switch (9) into bracket (7), running jamnut down to bracket. 3. Adjust switch (9) so plunger is fully depressed when steering is unlocked (transmission controller in any position except SL). Tighten jamnuts (8) on switch. 4. Install switch leads (3) and (4) with grommet (6) on bracket (7). 5. Connect leads 369 and 369A (used on solenoid-activated lock) or leads 368 and 369A (used on cable-activated lock) (1) and (2) to switch leads (3) and (4). Secure with new tiedown strap (5). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install solenoid bracket (WP 0428 00) or control assembly bracket (WP 0429 00). END OF TASK 0330 00-3/4 blank Change 1
