TM 9-2350-277-20-2 REPLACE COOLANT PUMP IDLER PULLEY/BELTS — Continued 0240 00 INSTALLATION 1. If removed, install idler pulley (7) and idler adjusting bracket (2) on engine. Secure with two washers (3) and screws (4). Do not tighten screws. NOTE Drive belts must be replaced in matched sets. 2. Position two drive belts (5) on three pulleys (1)(6)(7). 3. Pry upward on tang of idler pulley assembly (2) to get 1/4 to 3/8 inch deflection on drive belts (5) midway between pulleys (1) and (6) while applying a firm push with thumb.
