Replace hard, cracked, or cut cushioning pad (WP 0530 00). Any missing lock pins or latches that fail to secure hatch in any position. b. Check driver’s night vision quick release for smooth operation. c. Check vision blocks for cracks and chips. d. Replace vision blocks that have more than 50 percent impairment. DRIVER’S NIGHT VISION QUICK RELEASE CUSHIONING PAD VISION BLOCKS e. Push driver’s release handle up and measure between hatch release handle and washer. Make sure gap is 0.06 to 0.09 inch (1.5 to 2.3 mm). If clearance is not within limits, loosen or tighten nut on cable end, as required. 0155 00-117 Change 3 .3
