TM 9-2350-277-10 OPERATE CARRIER OVER ROUGH TERRAIN — Continued 0073 00 NOTE The crossdrive transmission is designed not to change direction of movement at speeds above four miles per hour. If you attempt to shift into reverse while moving forward above four miles per hour the transmission will not go into reverse even with the shift lever set to “R” (reverse), and the carrier will continue to move forward when you accelerate. Likewise, if you attempt to shift into a forward gear while moving above four miles per hour in reverse, the carrier will continue to move in reverse when you accelerate. DRIVE CARRIER OVER TRENCHES C A U T I O N Carrier will get stuck in trenches wider than 5 1/2 ft (1.67m). Do not cross trenches wider than 5 1/2 ft (1.67m). 1.
