TM 9-2350-277-10 OPERATE FIXED FIRE EXTINGUISHER SYSTEM — Continued 0031 00 OPERATE FIXED FIRE EXTINGUISHER (INSIDE) 1. Shut down operating equipment if possible. See WP 0024 00 or TM 3-1040-285-10. NOTE Fixed fire extinguisher inside release is not the same in all carriers. If your carrier has a release handle, go to Step 2. If your carrier has a release knob, go to Step 3. 2. Remove safety pin and rotate fixed fire extinguisher handle upward to activate fire extinguisher. 3. Turn fixed fire extinguisher knob to the left to activate fire extinguisher.
