Check for damaged and missing items on deck Ensure all items are secure. 10. Check smoke generators (M1059). a. Leaks and serviceability of straps b. Bracket security c. Armor plating 11. Check portable fire extinguisher (M1059). WARNING Make sure machine gun is clear and locked, and barrel is free of obstructions 12. Check commanders cupola machine gun and mount. a.
