REPLACE/REPAIR INVERTER AND INVERTER HOUSING ASSEMBLY A2 (M1068 ONLY) — Continued ASSEMBLY NOTE Both inverters are installed the same way. 1. Install retaining strip (22), inverter housing (6), and mounting strip (21) on sponson and secure with three screws (20). 2. Install four resilient mounts (12) on inverter housing (6) and secure with eight screws (19), washers (18), and new locknuts (17). 3. Install four straps (16) on tray (4) and secure with 16 screws (13), 32 washers (15), and 16 new locknuts (14). 4. Install tray (4) on four resilient mounts (12) and secure with four screws (10) and new lockwashers (11). 5. Install mount (3) on inverter (5) and secure with four screws (7), washers (8), and new locknuts (9). 6. Inst all m ount (3) and inverter (5) in housing (6) an d secure on tray (4) with th ree screw s (1) and n ew lock washers (2). H ave helper assist. 0079 00-4 0079 00 TM 9-2350-261-34
