TM 9-2350-261-20-4 REPLACE COOLANT HEATER FUEL PUMP (M577A2 AND M1068 ONLY) — Continued 0641 00 INSTALLATION 1. Place coolant heater fuel pump (1) on hull bracket. Secure with two screws (2), washers (3), and four new lockwashers (4). WARNING Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat. Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes. Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves. 2. Apply light coat of sealing compound to all external tapered threads. Do not apply sealant beyond small end of tapered threads. 3. Install adapter (5) on coolant heater fuel pump (1). Connect hose (6) to adapter. 4. Install elbow (7) on coolant heater fuel pump (1). 5. Install hose (6) on elbow (7) and on adapter (8). 6. Place two clamps (9) on bulkhead weldnut. Secure with screw (10) and three new lockwashers (11). 7. Connect coolant heater fuel pump lead (12) to circuit 402C lead (13). 0641 00-2
