INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Sealing compound (WP 0782 00, Item 60) Lockwasher (7) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00). Rear floor plate removed (WP 0436 00, WP 0438 00, or WP 0441 00) Coolant heater fuel shutoff valve closed (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect circuit 402C lead (1) from coolant heater fuel pump lead (2). 2. Remove screw (3), three lockwashers (4), and two clamps (5) from bulkhead weldnut. Discard lockwashers. 3. Remove hose (6) from elbow (7) on coolant heater fuel pump (9) and from adapter (9). 4. Remove elbow (7) from coolant heater fuel pump (8). 5. Disconnect hose (10) from adapter (11). Remove adapter from coolant heater fuel pump (8). 6. Remove two screws (12), washers (13), four lockwashers (14), and coolant heater fuel pump (8) from hull bracket. Discard lockwashers. 0641 00-1
