INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Sealing compound (WP 0782 00, Item 60) Locknut (2) Lockwasher (6) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) Rear floor plate removed (WP 0436 00, WP 0438 00, or WP 0441 00) Heater fuel shutoff valve closed (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect circuit 402A lead (1) from fuel pump lead (2). 2. Remove screw (3), washer (4), two lockwashers (5), and clamp (6) from hull weldnut. Discard lockwashers. 3. Remove hose (7) from tee (8) on personnel heater fuel pump (9) and from elbow (10) on coolant heater fuel pump (11). 0640 00-1
